The Bollywood is witnessing one of the biggest unofficial wars between the two giants of the film fraternity of India. The star of the millennium and the superstar of Bollywood stand nose-to-nose as the war is on with full vigour. Big B makes an advertisement, product launch, a game show and his on-screen role a mega success. And…. SRK wants to imitate the act. Oh yes…As he says… he’ll do that with his ‘own’ charm.

The strife between the industry icons has been continuing for a long time now. The Bachchans have reportedly accused in a hush-hush manner, their disapproval of SRK’s attempts to better the work of Amitabh Bachchan. Whether it is the remake of AB’s classical hit Don or a replacement for the hugely popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati, SRK’s trying to catch up and even score up Amitabh’s performance. SRK has even been endorsing the same brands as Big B. Remember, Navratna Oil ad, then Sona Chandi Chyavanprash advertisements, SRK is an obvious choice for a successor to Big B, but SRK’s not complaining either. Any opportunity to outshine the veteran genius is lapped up by him.

And… The battle is far from being over! Shah Rukh has been all over the news channels and print saying that Big B’s stature is far greater than his. Better! Though, he maintains he’ll give his unique style to KBC and try to woo Big B’s fans by his own charm. The filmdom and the loyal fans of the stalwarts wait to witness the performance of the new celeb host of KBC. Hopefully, SRK doesn’t fizzes out like his “Don-the chase begins again”. Seems as if even the title of the movie has something to say to us.
