Darsheel Safary to star with Sanjay Dutt
Taare Zameen Par star Darsheel Safary is to star with Sanjay Dutt in a film that will be produced by Sunil Shetty.
Titled Dedh (1½) the comedy will be directed by Ashwani Dhir. Says the director, “Sanjay Dutt has been finalised for the project. We need to work out the dates. As for the boy, yes we do want Darsheel and are trying for him. Let’s see. See, the Sanjay Dutt film with another kid is just one more film. But Dutt and Darsheel. That rocks!”
Apart from this, many other directors are also trying to sign up Darsheel including debutante director Vikram Singh. Says Ruslaan, “It’s about two brats, one grown-up and the other a kid. Darsheel would be ideal. But I believe he’s too expensive.”
