Sony Entertainment Televison Asia is in revamp mode. After announcing the demise of ‘Amber Dhara’ yesterday, the channel is waving adieu to yet another show – ‘Khwaish’.
Though the rumours of the show being pulled off were doing the rounds for a couple of months it has only now been confirmed. Sources tell us that it is due to the low TRPs that the production house is forced to pull the show off.
Ipshita, Creative head of the show says, “The show is going off-air from May. There will be a logical end to the show. It has nothing to do with the TRPs as we always knew that the show will not exceed beyond a year.”
Ipshita remained tightlipped about the possible end of the show. She said, “One will have to watch the show to find out what is in store.”
‘Khwaish’ was Balaji Telefilms first step in Pakistan, it was being screened on ARY Digital.
