Ambar Dhara to be axed by Sony TV
According to our sources, the Sony TV controversial serial Amber Dhara is to be taken off the air from April 25th.
However, Sanjay Upadhyay, creative director for the channel, denies this, “We have asked the creative team to restructure the plot. We can’t wait indefinitely for it to pick up.”
The producer for the conjoined twins’ saga, Vikas Seth, meanwhile, claims ignorance about the recent developments. But actor Ali Merchant doesn’t sound surprised at the news. “Some of the tracks were stretched beyond necessary,” he says.
It is believed that during the surgery to separate the conjoined twins, both will die… hence the serial will come to a close.
