Rani and Uday being lined up for Shah Rukh movie
Aditya Chopra’s girlfriend Rani Mukherji has managed to bag herself a role in his directorial venture Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi which stars Shah Rukh Khan and newcomer Simran.
It has been rumoured that Rani will be seen in a specially written role and will be part of a dance number with Shah Rukh Khan. Other rumours suggest that Uday Chopra is being lined up for a sidekick role after Hrithik Roshan turned it down.
In the film Shah Rukh Khan plays a professor of literature who takes on a bet that he can turn an illiterate village girl into a modern woman within days. However, he falls in love with her (a girl 26 years younger than him) and then has to face the wrath of her parents.
Bears striking resemblence with the hollywood movie she’s all that!!!

So i guess its just that anticipation that creates these rumors SRK said himself the story is very interesting and challenging and claimed he has nothing to do with casting. Film shooting starts may 15th.
