Sanjay gives little girl hope of survival
Sanjay Dutt has done some gandhigiri in real life by donating Rs 1.28 lakh to Satish Devkar, a peon working with a telecom company in the city, towards the surgery of his six-month-old daughter Shravani, who is born with a cardiac defect.
According to the Times Of India, Devkar had recently approached Dutt and told him about his daughter’s illness and that he was unable to arrange funds for her surgery. Dutt immediately told him to go to his office and collect the cheque.
Dutt’s manager Dharam Oberoi, says, “Dutt has always been a philanthropist but he never talks about his good deeds. An employee of Dev Anand’s wife is suffering from cancer. He had sought help from Dutt and the actor organised money for the lady’s treatment.”
