Ranbir blows kisses to Deepika while on the ramp
If Saif Ali Khan can show his affection for girlfriend Kareena Kapoor by getting a tattoo in her name then new Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor can do one better… by blowing kisses to sexy beauty Deepika Padukone in front of thousands.
Ranbir was walking the ramp for designer Arjun Khanna at Lakme Fashion Week when suddenly he started blowing kisses to Deepika who was sitting in the audience with his mother Neetu Singh Kapoor.
Dressed in a neat black and beige sherwani (an Indian style coat) and a red scarf, the actor had his face painted in gold. “Before I came here I didn’t know that my face would be painted golden. Only when I reached the venue and sat on a chair (backstage) to get the make-up done, I got to know about it. But I enjoyed the whole experience,” Ranbir said.
Ranbir made his entrance on the ramp in, what now has become his trademark, the dance step from the title song of Saawariya. Suddenly, he spotted his sexy girlfriend and cut short his catwalk. Instead, he blew a kiss to her that flew straight into her heart. Deepika tried to hide her face behind her hair but the look of blush was clearly evident. “There couldn’t have a better confession of love than this. Ranbir made it clear at the LFW that Deepika is his love interest,” said Rashmi Singh, who attended the show.
