EXCLUSIVE REVIEW BY HANUMANT BHANSALI

One Two Three is a loosly plotted gimmick of three men with same names – Laxminarayan. They create and follow a pattern to make you laugh for couple of minutes and crib at other times. With strong characterization, witty dialogues and sound concept in fine pieces, acclaimed TV writer Ashwani Dheer has lost out to get the right elements of a tight script and diligent actors in place.

Don (Manoj Pahwa’s) diamonds are stolen, which fall in the hands of Chandu (Upen Patel) and Chandni (Tanishaa). The outstandingly smart couple hide them in a car, and then work to see that no one buys that car.

Mukesh Tiwari, who plays Papa in the film, is looking for the diamonds alongwith his henchmen, played by Vrajesh Hirjee and Sanjay Mishra. Gorgeous but loud mouth police officer Mayavati Chautala (Neetu Chandra) is hunting for law-breakers of any sort.

Now, come One Two Three – Tusshar Kapoor, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal. First Laxmi Narayan (Tusshar Kapoor) is looking forward to settle himself in the mafia world. His mother prays for his success when he is assigned to murder Papa. He has to execute the case in Hotel Blue Diamond.

On the other hand, second Laxminarayan (Suniel Shetty) is sent to Hotel Blue Diamond to collect a new car for his boss from Laila (Sameera Reddy), and the third Laxminarayan (Paresh Rawal) is sent by his son to collect lingerie samples from upcoming designer Jiya (Esha Deol) in the same hotel. Now the three of them bump into each other’s lives, thanks to the same name.
