Race will now release in Pakistan too
UTV have announced that they will be releasing Race in Pakistan on March 28th, in tandem with Aamir Khan directed Taare Zameen Par.
Talking to the media about this, UTV executive vice president of marketing and distribution Siddharth Roy Kapoor said that Race will have minor cuts, to make it more acceptable to the Pakistan censors, while Taare Zameen Par will be released in its originality. ‘I am confident that as in India, both the movies will do fair business in Pakistan as well though the exhibition sector of the film industry there is in the doldrums right now,’ said Kapoor.
UTV have, prior to this, released the John Abraham sports flick Goal in Pakistan… which performed much better than even the UAE.
