The biggest Bollywood star right now, Mr. Shah Rukh Khan has taken a jibe at Akshay Kumar, the guy who is within reach of his King crown. Shah Rukh has become so worried about the threat from this once restaurant waiter that he is now using his function appearances to take pot swings at him.
As if the jokes thrown at Akshay Kumar at the recently held Filmfare Awards were not enough, King Khan used a recent event in Jamnagar, organized by Mukesh Ambani, to further show his worries to the world. According to an onlooker, “Shah Rukh just couldn’t stop passing comments on Akki during the 45-minute-long skit. The actor passed comments like, ‘So what if Akshay has had more releases last year? So what if Akshay’s earnings have shot up? So what if he can do daring action scenes? What he can do, SRK can do better. When it comes to quality, there’s none to beat SRK.’
Many other attendees were surprised that Shah Rukh was making jokes about Akshay Kumar, who wasn’t even present at the function. “We watch Shah Rukh doing the same thing at every award function. But the difference is that he earlier made fun of his colleagues in their presence. This time, Akshay wasn’t even present in Jamnagar. What clearly came across was SRK’s insecurity due to Akshay’s success,” added the source.

Ok See this is where people like this create non sense tension between two actors. SRK and Akshay share a great friendship. At filmfare Akshay took the jokes sooo well infact he even got involved in it. SRK knows how to make others laugh. and his comedy is like what they use in movies like “scary movie”(the spoof film).. they mean no harm but to make others laugh and the public loves it. everytime SRK makes fun of himself too. SRK is undoubtedly the best of hindi cinema and there is no changing that. Akshay is doing good now after being in the industry longer than SRK. But, the above point is why did srk made that demeaning comments about akshay kumar. is he taken things too personal? is akshay increasing popularity, both in india and aborad touching a nerve on srk? a person who demeans another is really showing what he has inside, hatred, jealousy for him. I watched Welcome and Hey Baby…and seriously it wasnt very good…i felt like walking out of the movie during these films. Namasty London and Bhool were two good movies..The last three movies SRK came out was CDI, Om Shanti Om, and Don and i loved them…Akki is good but SRK remained the best for a long time…which he still is the best today making greatt films…

you are thinking how??? Well 90% of indians live in small towns in india where the masses prefer action flicks over romance. This 90% can only afford to go to single screens in the interiors where the cinema ticket is dirt cheap.
SRK fans are only in urban centres 10% but they go to mulitplexes where ticket prices are skyhigh. Multiplexes is where todays income comes from due to the ticket price.
If an overall poll was conducted who is more popular in india without the money aspect, im 100% sure Akshay Kumar will be more popular in terms of people liking him.
