Shahid is Romeo to Priyanka’s Juliet
New Bollywood sensation Shahid Kapur could be playing one of the title roles in Vishal Bhardwaj’s take on Shakespeare’s Romeo And Juliet.
Apart from roping in Shahid, Vishal is expected to sign up Priyanka Chopra as Juliet. According to an industry insider, “Vishal has wanted to adapt Romeo and Juliet for a long time, even before Maqbool and Omkara. Yet he ended up making Maqbool first, then Omkara. “
Shahid is currently riding high in Bollywood with two super hits in succession, Vivaah and Jab We Met.
