Shankar’s Robot appears to be back on course, for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has at last committed herself.
It had originally been rumoured that Ash quit the mega project as Shankar required her dates spread across two years, which didn’t blend in easily with Ash. Evidently, the actress desired to start up a family before long, and didn’t want to delay. But Shankar has consorted to snap Ash’s shots first of all, and then advance to Rajnikanth’s portions.
According to informants, Ash will be acquiring Rs 6 crores for this motion picture, the gamiest an actress has ever picked up for a picture.
Robot follows a man of science who makes a robot, which then becomes a nuisance to the society.
At the start, the film was to be produced with Shah Rukh Khan leading but the actor withdrew. And then, Shankar neared Ajith, who dismissed it too. Eventually, it was Rajnikanth who arrived to his Sivaji director’s assistance, and bagged the flick.
