Dhoom sidekick Uday Chopra is all set to follow in the footsteps of his father Yash and elder brother Uday, turning director for a big budget film.
Uday, who hasn’t had much success in acting, will take the helm for a romantic thriller that will see Abhishek Bachchan as the main lead hero. This has yet to be confirmed.
The film, which will be produced under the banner of Yash Raj, is expected to be shot and released in 2009.
