Eros International, the London AIM listed leading integrated company within the Indian media & entertainment sector, announces the release of Krazzy 4 produced by renowned filmmaker Rakesh Roshan and directed by talented Jaideep Sen.
Starring renowned comedians Arshad Warsi, Irfan Khan, Rajpal Yadav and Suresh Menon in lead roles, Krazzy 4 is a social satire with a soul. It’s a story about four most unlikely candidates becoming the torchbearers for humanity and goodness. Through a package of comedy and laughter, the Krazzy 4 teach us how we can all get together to make the world a better place. Krazzy 4 also stars Juhi Chawla and Dia Mirza and has a special appearance of Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Rakhi Sawant.
Talking about the film, producer Rakesh Roshan commented:
“The idea for this story came to me almost eight to ten years ago – about four patients from a mental rehab let loose in a world that is not ready for them! After observing Jaideep Sen closely whilst making Koi…Mil Gaya and Krrish, I wanted to give him a break as an independent director and decided that he had the right sensibility and would not go over the top directing Krazzy 4.”
Director Jaideep Sen started his film career as an assistant director with Harry Baweja. He went on to assist Raj Kanwar for six films, worked as associate director with Sunny Deol on film “Dillagi” and joined Film Kraft in 2001 and worked closely with Rakesh Roshan on blockbusters Koi..Mil Gaya and Krrish. So impressed was Rakesh Roshan with Jaideep’s dedication and willingness to learn that he entrusted his next film Krazzy 4 into his capable hands.
Jaideep Sen commented: “As I embark on my journey as an independent feature film director with Krazzy 4, I hope I have lived up to the immense faith Mr Roshan has reposed in me. He is a man of such few words that when he doesn’t say anything, you have to assume that you have delivered a quality film that matches up to the formidable reputation of Filmkraft and the genius of Rakesh Roshan!”

Cast / Character Sketches
Juhi Chawla is Dr Sonali. As a psychiatric she knows what’s wrong with her patients; as a sensitive woman she firmly believes that if you really want to make them well, you should treat them with your heart, not just your mind.
Arshad Warsi is Raja. Truly the angry young man! His blood boils, his fists clench and he’s ready to beat the daylights out of anyone who upsets him in some way.
Irrfan Khan is Dr Mukherjee. He has decided that he’s the Captain of the team! But so obsessed is he by the need to be in control of a situation, he doesn’t realise he’s totally lost control of himself and his mind.
Rajpal Yadav is Gangadhar. He’s marching to a beat only he can hear; he’s fighting for a cause that’s long over. But in his muddled mind he’s still fighting for Swaraj; still hobnobbing with the likes of Nehru and Mahatma Gandhi.
Suresh Menon is Dabboo. Cute and adorable, he’s everybody’s pet and however far gone the rest may be, when it comes to Dabboo, everybody’s super protective. Even if he can hear and understand, Dabboo refuses to speak. And nobody knows why!
Dia Mirza is Shikha. As a TV reporter she controls the news on the channel, but as a woman she’s unable to control the unruly and unmanageable rage of Raja – the man she loves.
Rajat Kapur is Industrialist R K Sanyal, who’s also Dr Sonali’s husband. But in his quest for power and money he takes a step that will have alarming consequences for his wife and her patients – the krazzy 4!
Zaakir Hussain is Srivastav. He is so neck deep in illegal activities that now he’ll stoop to anything – even kidnapping and murder – to keep him ahead.
