EXCLUSIVE REVIEW BY HANUMANT BHANSALI

Quite often we come across scripts that promise to offer a different product but with tamed execution and heartless detailing, all the substantial variety built in the script goes in vain. One such movie which hit the theatres is 26th July at Barista.

The story is pinned up around the exceptional rainfall that the city of Mumbai faced on the 26th of July. The entire human activity and life came to a haphazardous stop when the rain Gods decided to shower the city with agony and suffering.

The film revolves around people of different backgrounds who get stuck in the rains on that particular night and spin a fictional and hammy tale – all to forget.

The list includes a couple who are worried about their kids getting stuck in the Essel World, a scriptwriter – more of a pretension that acting, a wannabe actress, two service professionals, a cop, a worried woman looking for a kid, a woman who has been gang-raped and a kid looking for his father.
