A humanitarian cause dissolves all boundaries and differences. Music has been promoting cultural exchange among the arch-rivals India and Pakistan and has provided a platform for showcasing the finest of talents on both sides of the line of control.
Again a Pakistani musical band performs at a significant event in India. Pak band Jal of ‘Aadat’ fame have already made a dream debut in India and has done innumerable shows across the country.
Jal joined hands with many others at the Internatioanl Film Festival of India for World AIDS Day concert in Goa. Band member Goher Mumtaz shared his experience saying, “A concert of this stature in Goa is an honour, a pleasure trip and plus a performance.” The talented dudes from across the border are going ga-ga over the Indian films at the festival. The other lead vocalist Farhan Saeed finds a favourite in Lage Raho Munna Bhai and is looking forward to watch Dhoom2 during their stay. Talking about Indo-Pak ties Farhan says, “It’s not the boundaries, but the culture that binds us together.” Nice thought!
