It was only yesterday when superstar Aamir Khan asked fellow actor Shah Rukh Khan what it felt like being No. 2 to him. This didn’t go down well with fans of King Khan and a response from the ‘Baazigar’ was imminent. So when SRK took the podium to launch his Kolkata Knight Riders (a Cricket team that he has bought to play in the newly formed ICL), the next stage in this showdown was witnessed…
We all are well aware of Shah Rukh’s down to earth attitude towards all, be it friends or foes, and Aamir Khan is no exception. When a member of the present media asked SRK for a response on the Aamir statement, Shah Rukh joked, “My wife has warned me. If I say anything about Aamir, she’ll beat me up. She is an Aamir Khan fan.” He further joked, “Aamir is a dear friend and if he says that I’m second to him then it’s a great compliment to him. Oops! That was a genuine slip of the tongue. I mean it’s a great compliment to me.” Talking about differences between the two, Shah Rukh explained, “We are complete opposites. He is an intelligent, intellectual person. I’m more physical. I do things, he thinks them out. I know his jokes, he knows mine. He is 100% No. 1.”
The media hype surrounding this issue didn’t rest, a few minutes later another journalist raised the issue. He asked Shah Rukh if Aamir was upset at him because of a statement that Shah Rukh made before the release of Don… “There’s Chengez Khan and then there’s Shah Rukh Khan.” To this, King Khan said, “There’s Aamir, then there’s me and then there’s Chengez Khan… I guess. That keeps changing. I’m proud of having learnt a lot from Aamir. One of my biggest desires in life is to do a film with Aamir. We should not belittle the importance of Aamir Khan by comparing him with someone like me. He is a standalone, one of the nicest gentlemen and actors in the country.”
Shah Rukh’s wife Gauri was also present at this Mumbai press conference along with his leading lady Juhi Chawla. Captain of his Riders, Saurav Ganguly posed for the cameras with fellow team-mates Ishant Sharma, Akash Chopra and Murali Karthik .

Shah rukh is an extremely arrogant man and i think that always comes across in his interviews. I admire Aamir khan for his no nonsense approach and really takes his job seriously. I think most people cannot deny that Aamir is the better actor and has now proven himself to be a great director aswell, an allround talent. Shah Rukh Khan always plays shah rukh khan and that is his problem, i really don’t get why he is so popular, I heard one of his interviews recently around the time om shanti om and saawariya were releasing. He said that sonam and ranbir kapoor had alot of love and respect for him!! so he wasnt worried really about the joint release!!!What arrogance!! Again it was all about him and his greatness. I think i made my decision after that that this guy was really too full of himself and aamir khan to be the best anyday!
First: Why is it always necessary to compare great actors. These two are completely diffferent and both make films peple love. Tate is taste. It cannot be discussed. And second: I think it’ s arrogant to judge people if you only know them from the media. Who knows how they really are. And media reports are not always accurate. Jokes come across as serious attacks and so on. Why not simply leave the artists alone and enjoy their work.
Oh, did you see guys, yes, SHAH RUKH KHAN is SHAH RUKH, and real KHAN, actually he is really down to earth, amazingly he has got no problem with anyone, but everyone has got the problem with SRK, so, its only those people’s or actors problem either they leave the event when he enters, or he is given the No 2 title, it doesn’t bother him, he just keeps doing his job and like every successful person he just wants to grab the time, so, thats it. This is why in BOLLYWOOD no one, no actor has been critically acclaimed that much as much as SHAH RUKH KHAN, any minor thing and thats it, there comes Shah Rukh Khan in people’s minds. He is a legend, of course after different actors, like DILIP KUMAR, etc etc,AMITABH BACHCHAN, and SHAH RUKH KHKHKHAAAAN.
so he did not deserved it?SRK is more mature than any other actor in bollywood cause he is not lowering himself to other actors!Aamir,salman,ranbir,akshay,hrithik and others,when they make good stuff,either they compare them self to king khan or the media does it!It is honor for every actor to be compared to king khan!
As actors, they are both very good. As a person, SRK beats Aamir by miles. On one hand SRK has great friends in the industry, all his heroeines get along with him, his producers are loyal to him and he is well liked by a lot of people. Aamir on other hand seems cold and distant and less accomidating. I don’t think he has too many friends in the industry. SRK is also better as a husband and father.
If SRK is a such a gr8 person..then why does he comment on others….Well! everyone knows what he thinks of himself…Just coz he has got the title of King khan..he thinks he owns Bollywood…On many occassions he has commented on great actors of Bollywood, sarcasticaly or may be jokingly… even the great Amitabh Bacchan…and i think SRK is no where near to AB…AB is the man of the millenium….On the other hand, Aamir does not interfere with other’s life….but for SRK he does interfere…now that is not a good sign of a gr8 actor…SRK is jealous, if people overtake him..and he starts saying weired things about them….have you ever seen AB or Hrithik or even Aamir passing comments on their competitor…not that i know off….i think SRK is the biggest hype of the Bollywood Industry….not that he deserves that title….
I think SRK is an actor who has no manners and has no respect for elders. The way he talks seems to me he lacks class and dignity, how can you talk and have digs at other stars who are older.
For me true greatness is in your personality and how you conduct urself in public.
Amitabh Bachchan is the greatest example of this, during his heydays he never once bad-mouthed a collegue, he respected every senior artiste. He was a one-man industry in the 80s but yet he never claimed to be number1, he always said that he was not great and that there are greater actors than him. For me this is true greatness!
SRK on the other hand has no class. He has personnal digs at other stars and senior artistes. I have no respect for people like thim.
Aamir khan is a very jealous person. He can’t stand it that SRK is the real Man, the Nr. 1. Since 1993 SRK is the numero uno and there have been competitors who wanted the crown, but SRK is still standing.
Hritick Roshan is a much greater actot and entertainer than the little midget, so is Akshay Kumar.
SRK is fond of making jokes, sometimes at the cost of fellow actors.
Aamir Khan is a big joke. He is flying high on the succes of TZP; but first he stole the direction of TZP, when its was already made for 60%, taking all the credit for himself. What a disgusting person. He never makes jokes, you’ll never see him laugh in public, what a depressed little child.
Aamir will never be Nr.1, he even doesn’t stand in the shadow of SRK.
There will be always 3 actors in Bollywood who ruled and still rules, the rest of them is can compete with themself.
The Number 1 forever: Dilip Kumar
The number 2 : Amitabh Bachchan
The Number 3 : Shah Rukh Khan
Till number 10 nobody comes even close.

SRK is a down to earth man, people identify with him and not with the home braker Amir. The man is a hypocrite. He is making a film for the wellness of the children, but makes his own children cry by leaving his wife and cheat on her.
He wants to impress the GORA people by making Lagaan, RDB, Mangal Pandey.
SRK is a true INDIAN, devoted to his family and people. Hindu, Muslim, Christ it doesnt matter. The perfect example is his own home, two religions living in one roof and his mental sister also lives biy him. Learn more about SRK than to judge him.
His co-stars, producers, directors, everybody who are responsible for making a film are fond of him.
And he isn’t greedy for MONEY, unlike other actors who drive there fee as soon a film is a hit. SRK asks for the same fee for every film.

are you uneducated or stupid…when you call SRKs sister MEntal, what do you mean by that. She suffers from a mental illness and anyone anytime can suffer from the same, like anyother illness or disease. Learn to respect human beings. you too may end up experiencing a mental illness…..no one is immune to this…
Clearly people did not realize that this was A JOKE!! Aamir Khan made a joke, and SRK had the perfect response. I don’t think anybody got hurt, and I don’t understand why everyone is taking it so personal.
As to who is the better actor – well, both of them are very good, versatile, engaging actors. The only difference is that Aamir thinks thoroughly before getting involved in a project and SRK seems to do most movies that come his way (I think that is just because he can’t say no).
All are best in their stand but they should not show their proud. The man or the actor must not show their real status nowdays we could count sharukh in these catagory.And now who is the best.

i think all of aamir’s movies have something for the people.none of his movies flopped so he is and was the among all the actors.till now he only entertained the middle east countries, after this he start to entertain the world.he is just an ideal for srk.thanks
