Tamil superstar Vikram is to star alongside Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan for Mani Ratnam’s next.
A source says, “Vikram always wanted to work with Mani Sir and they had discussed the possibility of working together on many occasions, but their plans never materialised. After Guru, Mani Sir is now working on a contemporary intense drama which also has romance as its integral part. He thought it would be a good idea to cast Vikram opposite Aishwarya Rai and called Vikram for a narration. Mani Sir signed him on a few days ago.”
Vikram’s films include Sethu, which was re-made in Hindi as Tere Naam, Dhill, Gemini, Pithamagan, Dhool, Saamy and Anniyan.
