Rakesh Roshan has chosen Latin actress Barbara Mori to star opposite his son Hrithik Roshan in his new movie, ‘Kites‘.
Barbara Mori has appeared in over a dozen movies and TV shows and is probably best known to North American viewers for her work in the steamy romance La Mujer de mi hermano (2005).
Bárbara Mori Ochoa was born on the 2nd of February 1978. In 1998, Bárbara Mori got her first leading role as Azul in the series Azul Tequila, co-starring with Mauricio Ochmann. A year later she filmed the series Me muero por tí in Miami, with Peruvian actor Christian Meier.
After breaking up with Mayer, Mori dated Manolo Cardona. She is currently dating actor and fashion designer José María de la Torre.

The film which also stars Kangana Ranaut, will be directed by Anurag Basu and will have amazing musical compositions by Rajesh Roshan. The remaining cast and credits are currently being finalized. The casting is taking place in Bombay and Los Angeles. Filming is expected to start in May 2008.
