Shahid on verge of multi million deal
Rumors are rife in Bollywood that young actor Shahid Kapur could be on the verge of signing a multi-crore deal with powerhouse film makers UTV.
The teen heart-throb, who is riding high after the solo hero successes of Vivaah and Jab We Met, has been approached by UTV who are willing to offer him anything between Rs 15 to 20 crores. This is three times more than what UTV offered him a few years ago.
Apart from the UTV deal, many top name Bollywood directors are gambling on signing up Shahid as a lone hero for their films. Vishal Bharadwaj and Ken Ghosh are two of them. Shahid is already working with Aziz Mirza for Kismet Konnection where he headlines the film opposite a much older Vidya Balan. It should be noted that this is the first time Mirza is working with an actor such as Shahid, previous to this he has only worked with brand names, i.e. Shah Rukh Khan.

Go Shahid go! I think he has got what it takes. Just hope that he is not extra choosy and in the process loose out on good films.
Starry life can be very short spanned, fans have short lived memory. Being too choosy and doing just one film a year might not do him too good at this stage. I am a huge huge fan haven’t loved anyone so much after SRK ( being ardently devoted to him since Fauji and only go to the theatre to watch SRK and no one else. Now it’s going to be Shahid for me). So, hope Shahid makes it all the way to the top.
