Saif and Ranbir in Bollywood’s Departed
Oscar winning Hollywood flick The Departed is to be made in Hindi with Saif Ali Khan and Ranbir Kapoor as the main protagonists.
Sajid Nadiadwala has expressed interest in the Bollywood version of the Martin Scorsese masterpiece, and has roped in Siddharth Raj Anand as director. Saif Ali Khan will play the Matt Damon role while Ranbir will try to replicate Leonardo DiCaprio. Amitabh Bachchan is expected to be the bad guy.
This would be the second time that Anand is to remake a Hollywood classic, as he is currently working on an Indian version of The Bachelors. This film stars Bipasha Basu, Deepika Padukone, Minnisha Lamba and Ranbir Kapoor.
Filming on The Departed remake could be as soon as December 2008.

no no no Shahid and only Shahid could do the role played by Leo Di Caprio. Saif is way too old for either Leo or Matt Damon’s role. Maybe Saif should do Mark Walbergs role…..oh no I so wanted Shahid to do Leo’s role, I am so depressed after reading this role

Why does Bollywood work so heavily on who knows who…this is crap its all about family connection, how I hate this.
Shahid is definitely the India DiCaprio in every way and to not give him this role is criminal!!!!
