Yash Raj alienate Akshay from Tashan promos
If you have been keeping a close eye on the promos of Tashan, then you would have noticed that not much screen space is being given to Akshay Kumar. What could the reason be… read on.
It seems that the film-makers, Yash Raj Films are trying to promote the film on the back-heels of Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, who are all the rage these days. This film is to be the first time the two will be seen together on the big screen since they hooked up as a couple, and this is being used by Yash Raj to plug the film further. Akshay Kumar and Anil Kapoor also star in the film, but rarely have they been seen on the trailers.
That is one reason as to why Akshay has been put on the back-burner, another is of Akshay turning down a Yash Raj film, and therefore the big-wig production house getting miffed with him. Yash Raj head-man Yash Chopra is not used to stars turning down roles offered to them on a plate from his production house, and seem to have gotten a little hurt by Akshay’s refusal.
A source says, “Yes, it’s true that Akshay Kumar turned down a Yash Raj film. Obviously, the Chopras did not take it too well. After watching Akshay’s performance in Tashan, the Chopras wanted him to star in another project of theirs. Aditya Chopra personally narrated the script to Akshay. However, Akshay was not entirely convinced with the story of the untitled project and turned it down. Aditya believes that because of Yash Raj’s Dil To Pagal Hai, Akshay got a new image. He expected Akshay to say yes at least for old times’ sake. Sadly, Akshay’s decision caught him completely off-guard The creative team at Yash Raj, which currently is working on the promos of Tashan, have focused on Saif and Kareena, leaving Akshay almost out of the picture. It is their way of getting back at Akshay.”

Bullshit…Yash chopra…forget the old days and ur pictures are flop now a days and Akshaya Hit Kumar is the superstar now a days and he does not need to be work with flop show house.
Yash raj flopped cause they said last year that they would not give another role to SRK and that they would new their image by bringing in younger actors!cause SRK turned down fANAA and thats where Aamir came in and they wanted to teach SRK a lesson but the people clearly showed in the next who they are backing up(SRK).SRK had the 2 biggest block busters and they were 2 different movies!Where yash raj did not have a single hit!
I am telling you now that Tashan is going to be a hit cause they officially became friends(SRK-Chopras)!they can have relief!
KingKhan without YashRaj, sharukh khan is nothing.

Chopra’s are just trying to increasing curiosity regarding the role and the image of Akshay. All these problems between Chopras and AKshay are rumours.

Devdas, KA, Pardes, Deewana and YB are old movies came atleast 5 years ago. Do you know any SRK movie without Chopra or Johar in last 5 years? His success ratio without C & J would be 5%. Go check his old flopped movies. You will know 5% is justified.
Anyway Karan is getting stories from old superhit movies.Now he should start grebbing stories from greatest comadian Mahmood and s.khan should start copping old commadians because s.khan is absolutely not a talented actor than a third rate commadian.just lucky
if this news i true,then RY are gone mad ,Akki is the only Superstar and bankable lead actor in Tashan,they’ll pay for this stupid move!!
DMJ all the films u mentioned are not superhits apart from KARAN ARJUN which is a multi-starrer.

The mentioned films were hits not average, you asked for hits.
The point is this my friend. SRK is loyal to his friends en his believes. He could do Munnabhai, but he choose for his friend. So many films are offered to SRK, but when you are at the top one has to be choosy. You rather make films with the people with whom you feel relaxed.
On the other side, SRK has made the Chopras en the Johars.
Where do you leave Don man, it was a hit also.
what akshay is doin from the past 2 years ……..shahrukh has been doin that for the past 15 yrs dude…….and don t give me the excuase of yashraj///…ok they were a flop last year only chak de india ….was a blockbuster
Should the rumoured scuffle between Akshay and Chopras are true…..then I must say YRF will be looser ultimately….Akshay succeeded and will succeed without YRF…….Being a gud banner YRF should treat Akshay better
and I feel Akshay should not have signed the film with YRF……after what they did to him in DTPH
there was a big fight between akshay and yas raj after DTPH and after 10 yeares he have signed him again for his banner but if you see the way akshay has been delievering hits from last 5 years the i dont think so he should care about the banners ….. they have just used him looking at his hits status in couple of yeares and on campaing SRK AND AKKI there is no doublt that AKKI will rule the bolly wood in coming 1 to 2 years

For some “racist” remarks up there about the King of Bollywood or simply King Khan: people please get your facts right first and then move on to judge people. If a King of Bollywood, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan has been ruling and still does with inclusion of Saif what is the big deal? Just don’t be so jelous of their success and move on and watch your favorite actor’s movie, for that matter Akshay Kumar who gave the biggest flop of all time with Tashan (even bigger flop than Aaf)…
Don’t be so sceptic about the Khans because their success ratio and and how much they made at the box office is greater than all other movies star combined!
