Special: Kareena Kapoor’s 2008 diary
If Shah Rukh Khan has been termed as the busiest actor for the next year, then Kareena Kapoor can proudly call herself the same… for she has no time to rest at all.
After the stupendous success of Jab We Met, Kareena is much sought after in the industry, and with winning awards on top of awards, her popularity has risen sky-fold. Kareena confirms this, “I have a very tight schedule right now. At the moment, I am shooting for Astavinayak’s Golmaal Returns. I wanted to take a vacation for a long time but thanks to my routine, it is impossible.”
Kareena will travel to Australia in March for the shoot of Sohail Khan’s Main Aur Mrs Khanna, after which she is to go to Los Angeles for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kambakht Ishq. Once the 50 day shoot in USA is complete, Kareena will then begin working with boyfriend Saif Ali Khan for the untitled Karan Johar film that is to be directed by Rang De Basanti writer Renzil D’Souza. This film is expected to be shot in London. Finally, the end of the year will see Kareena work with her arch-enemy John Abraham for a film that will be shot in either New Zealand or Spain.
Talking about this rigorous schedule, Kareena says, “My secretary just informed me that I can’t take a vacation for the next one year as I am shooting all over the world. In fact, from March 15, when I start shooting with Salman for Main Aur Mrs Khanna in Melbourne, I will be out of town for one whole year except for brief appearances for professional commitments.”
