Producer Satish Khanna’s much-delayed film Mohabbat Ho Gayi Hai Tumse, which stars Sanjay Dutt was banking to cash on the success of Lage Raho Munnabhai. However, the producer is waiting for buyers.
“With Sanjay Dutt’s Lage Raho Munnabhai striking it rich at the box-office, I was expecting my film to become a hot proposition. The film has been certified with an U/A certificate and I was happy that the film will finally see the light of the day. I have invested around Rs 35 million (Rs 3.5 crore) and have shot a major schedule in Dubai too. I am willing to sell the negative of the film too. A couple of days back, Sanju has promised to help me with the distribution,” says Khanna.
The shooting of Mohabbat Ho Gayi Hai Tumse was completed in 2004. Apart from Dutt, the film stars Chandrachur Singh, Shamita Shetty, Puru Rajkumar and Paresh Rawal. Directed by Rishi Talwar, duo Sanjeev – Darshan have provided the musical composition.
