Twinkle lets hubby Akshay romance Priyanka
They were last seen in Aitraaz, and caused much news, and now Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra will do the same… for an action-oriented romantic drama.
Akshay and Priyanka will co-star with Sanjay Dutt and Lara Dutta in Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision’s Blue. The film has many action scenes, and Akshay wanted an actress that knew a little about these moves, so it would be easier for him to shoot – hence he recommended Priyanka to the production team.
Film-makers have tried to stay away from pairing Akshay and Priyanka, because of Akshay’s wife Twinkle who took a dislike to her and forbade him from starring with her. But Akshay has talked it over with Twinkle, who has agreed to let the two work together.
What are your thoughts on wives and husbands of Bollywood stars dictating on whom they can work with and not? I’m glad that Twinkle has allowed it. i think akshay and prynaka did make an awesome couple, probably better than akshay and some others. in waqt, i though they were great. for awhile, most akshay movies were limited to him opposite katrina kaif, but i’m glad that he will be working with pryanka now. they make a wonderful jodi on screen. of course, i do think twinkle’s opinion should be respected, yet i wonder what her reason was for disallowing him to work with pryanka?
