The Anees Bazmee directed action-comedy Singh is Kinng is rumored to be based on the classic Amitabh Bachchan flick Dostana.
Talking to the media, one of the lead stars in the film, Sonu Sood says, “I cannot say anything. You will have to wait and watch.” Sonu is expected to play the role of Amitabh Bachchan while Akshay Kumar will be Shatrughan Sinha. It has also been revealed that Sonu’s character’s name is Kinng and Akshay’s Singh.
If this is true, then this will be the second Dostana remake. Karan Johar is also re-producing it with Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham in the lead roles.
