EXCLUSIVE REVIEW BY HANUMANT BHANSALI

After a forgettable stint with James, director Rohit Jugraj climbs a relatively better step with his latest venture titled Superstar. The film stars budding actor Kunal Khemu in a double role for the first time.

In the recent times, a lot of films have been made with Bollywood as the background and Superstar in one amongst them. The film has been thoroughly promoted though its music hasn’t helped its average first day collections in any which way.

The film manages to convey a social message in the proceedings as to how fame and money can change an individual’s mindset. Empowerment of self-indulgence takes priority over personal goals and ways to achieve them.

Kunal (Kunal Khemu) dreams to become a top line actor in Bollywood. His fiercely attitude and independent nature makes him believe that his struggling period will soon get over.

His dream comes to a standstill when his lookalike Karan (Kunal Khemu) makes an ambitious foray into the shining world of entertainment. Coming from a rich background, Karan possesses the glamourous and suave nature breeding in him.
