The blockbuster adaptation of Dan Brown’s bestseller Da Vinci Code will be revisited in the form of a sequel this time. The movie was a world-wide rage after its controversial revelations of various scandalous facts of the church, wrapped in a captivating mystery thriller.
The second sequel is being worked upon by the scriptwriter Akiva Goldsman, who had earlier adapted the original mystery novel for the screen. Reportedly, he has already been paid a whopping amount of $ 3.8 million dollars to write the sequel.
There is a twist in the story, or in fact, the entire movie. The sequel will not take off from where Da Vinci Code had left, but it will be based on Dan Brown’s earlier best-seller Angels and Demons.
Yet another mega storyline and a promising team to create magic on the big screen again. The movie is expected to be released in 2008.
