Abhishek turns down film with Amitabh
We here at RS can shockingly reveal that Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has turned down a film with father Amitabh Bachchan.
Director Shoojit Sircar wanted to sign Abhishek Bachchan for his yet to be titled film, one where Abhishek would be playing a younger version of Amitabh’s character. But Abhishek refused the part because he had a few reservations.
Abhishek would have played the role of a 40-year-old guy in the first half and later the plot takes a 20-year leap and we would have seen Amitabh Bachchan in the same character.
Abhishek did read the script and loved it very much, but he didn’t have many scenes in the film, as most of them involved Amitabh Bachchan. He wanted more scenes but the director said no.
After Abhishek refused the role, fellow actor Kunal Kapoor was offered it, he too refused it. Now it seems that Amitabh Bachchan will play both roles himself.
