Akshay, Kareena, Anil back with Yash Raj
Yash Raj Films will be hoping that their soon to be released multi-starrer Tashan gives them some glory at the Box Office, as apart from Chak De India, they have seen a lull in takings recently.
Tashan will see the banner work with three actors with whom they have not worked with for a long time. Akshay Kumar last worked with the power-house production company for the mega-hit Yeh Dillagi in 1994. After which he did have a bit-part in Dil To Paagal Hai that released in 1997. It will have been 11 years since one of Bollywood’s most bankable actors last worked with them.
Kareena Kapoor starred in the flop cyber-love flick Mujhse Dosti Karoge in 2002 and for 6 years has been awol. While Anil Kapoor worked a long long 16 years back. We all remember his excellent performance in Lamhe, and one wanders as to why Yash Raj have not hired him since then.
Tashan releases later this year.
