French and films! Celebration party of the French movie ‘Avatar’ in Mumbai
Monday night, celebs from tinsel town flocked in for the celebrations of the forthcoming French film, Avatar along with the director Julian Leclerq the actress Marie Guillardand of the movie themselves. The party that was hosted by Jiten and Shabnam Hemdev saw the who’s who of city celebs storm at post midnight. The party that took place at Olive, Bar and Kitchen, was a pleasant mix of French foreigners and our own Indians with a rather hilarious site to watch the foreigners speaking in English and Hindi while our own folks attempting to speak in French with each other.
With appetizing starters and drinks and a perfect ambience, everyone was seeing having a relaxed time and chatting away with friends. The movie, that was also simultaneously been showed at a nearby theatre, had the actress and the director who have come down for the first time to promote their film for the French Film Festival, walk in much later.
Juhi Chawla, looking pretty as usual in an Indian suit, was the first one to walk in. Nisha Jamval, posed for the shutterbugs in her beautiful black gown. Siddharth Kannan was acting a part host for his friend hosts. Other celebs like Nandita Mahtani, Nisha Zaveri, Kailash Surendranath, Kehkashan soon followed.
