The Prem Soni film Main Aur Mrs. Khanna (and not Mr. And Mrs. Khanna as previously reported) was offered to five different actors before Salman Khan accepted it.
Prem had approached Shahid Kapur, Sanjay Dutt, Vivek Oberoi, Fardeen Khan, and Akshaye Khanna, but all of them turned it down. Finally, he approached Sohail Khan who offered to produce the film and get his brother Salman Khan to take the lead role.
Not only the actors, but the actresses offered the film and subsequently turning down, have been Priyanka Chopra, Preity Zinta, Ayesha Thakia, Lara Dutta and Deepika Padukone. Finally, Kareena Kapoor committed herself to play Mrs. Khanna.
The film’s title has also seen a few changes. Initially, it was going to be titled Do Pal Ka Karvaan, then Mr. And Mrs. Khanna, and now it will be called Main Aur Mrs. Khanna.
