Akshay increases his market price
Akshay Kumar is getting a little too much big for his shoes, as the following story reads.
Akshay, who is riding high in Bollywood after delivering 4 successful hits in 2007, disheartened choreographer turned director Ganesh Acharya by asking for a fee that was out of this world.
The film’s producer Kumar Mangat was confident that Akshay would charge his normal market price, but Akshay wanted near to double that, something which Mangat wasn’t able to afford. Because of this, Ganesh Acharya’s much loved project will not be happening as he wanted only Akshay to work in the film.
Because of the bad vibes from this, Akshay Kumar will also not be doing an item number for Acharya’s current in-production flick Money Hai To Honey Hai. This film stars Govinda, Upen Patel, and Aftab Shivdasani.
What are your thoughts on this story and your views on Akshay Kumar now asking for more money than some film makers can afford? Do you think that Akshay should be increasing his market price, or should he continue working for less? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below.

great going Akki,u desreve the best!!
Why is the media harping about his market price. Is it anyone’s business what Akshay Kumar demands. Whatever he and Ganesh Acharya agree upon is no ones concern.
Plus Akki is not known to make such ridiculous quotes. He will work for free if need be for friends! This is all gossip-mongers who have nothing better to do.
