Welcome satellite rights at 20 crores

According to trade sources, the satellite rights for Welcome are being touted at a massive Rs. 20 crores.

The Akshay Kumar comedy has become one of the biggest hits of 2008 so far, and therefore its price tag has soared through the roof. Director Anees Bazmee has confirmed this report.

The film, which also stars Katrina Kaif and Anil Kapoor, has so far grossed Rs. 135 crores worldwide in 4 weeks of release.
