She seems to be just one of the many saas bahu faces that keep coming on television. The fact that she is so famous is simply because she’s been a part of the tried and tested formula. I don’t think she will be that successful in films. So many of Ektaa Kapoor’s actors have branched out to make a film career but they’ve never been successful.

Prachi is a great actor and especially after ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’, she has proved that she is capable of much more than what we see of her on television. If she finds the right director and the right script, there’s no stopping her.

So many actors have branched out from the Balaji camp to make it big in Bollywood that now it doesn’t seem exciting at all. Most of them just use television as a stepping stone. I guess Prachi’s acting career depends on the scripts she gets.
