Karan adds, “Anchoring needs presence of mind and humour to spice up the conversation. I have realised that just being yourself helps a lot.” So what kind of a host will he be — arrogant, soft or teasing? “It depends on the situation and who the guest is,” he says as casually.
Karan also reveals that Koffee With Karan and Rendezvous with Simi Garewal are his favourite chat shows. However, it’s something like Kaun Banega Crorepati that he would want to anchor someday. “I like the idea of interacting with laymen, making them comfortable and having fun with them,” he says.
And who would he like to invite on his show? “The list is long. But I would definitely want Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan to be my guests in the show,” he signs off.
