Munna Bhai (Sanjay Dutt), our local Mumbai goon and his reliable buddy, Circuit (Arshad Warsi) are back to recreate history on the silver screen and captivate audience the world over.
The beginning of the successful and fun-filled journey of the sequel ‘Lage Raho MUNNA BHAI’ was clearly evident from the zeal witnessed at the movie’s grand premiere hosted by FAME Adlabs, Andheri. In this Nayaa Story, the comic duos have some Naye Dostlog – Jhanvi (Vidya Balan), Lucky Singh (Boman Irani), Victor D’souza (Jimmy Shergill) and Simran (Dia Mirza).
For the premiere, FAME Adlabs stopped at nothing to make the evening a very memorable one. The venue was done up elaborately with floral decorations and soft lighting and a red carpet was rolled out to welcome the entire ensemble of MUNNA BHAI – Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani, Vidya Balan, along with Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Chunky Pandey, Maria Goretti, Sandhya Mridul, Atul Agnihotri, Alvira, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Kundan Shah, Ganesh Acharya, Ramesh Taurani in addition to the who’s who from Bollywood and the city’s glitterati.
The movie’s Producer (Vidhu Vinod Chopra) and Director (Raj Kumar Hirani), along with Shravan Shroff, Shyam Shroff and Balakrishna Shroff from Shringar Cinemas welcomed guests and played the perfect hosts for the evening. Throughout the premiere, tons of laughter echoed at FAME Adlabs with guests going berserk over the heart-warming humorous moments from the movie.

Her effervescent greeting of Good Morning Mumbai on her daily radio show makes Munna’s heart skip a beat each time he listens to her. Life is beautiful – his ‘dadagiri’ business is flourishing, he listens besottedly to the radio for hours every day, he dreams of marrying Jhanvi. There is just one ‘minor’ problem. Jhanvi thinks Munna is a “Professor of History”. And in all her innocence, Jhanvi invites Munna to give a history lecture to her family. Poor Munna! What should he do? As Munna tries to sort this ‘minor’ entanglement in his otherwise perfect life, Circuit comes up with a bright solution. And then, the most unusual things occurs in Munna’s Life. What happens when the present meets past? What happens when our very own professor of history encounters a ‘Figure of History”?
