While the viewers are sulking in the theatres watching the Khandala girl acting in prostitute roles in multiple films, Rani is unfazed about the whole affair as she exclaims her opinion.
Says Rani,”What’s the big deal? An actor’s job is to play a variety of challenging roles. And I don’t think anyone has the right to question any actor for his choice of oarts. I can’t be happy doing just good-women or bad-women roles. Luckily for me I got to play three different kinds of prostitutes in The Rising, Laga Chunari… and Saawariya.
You can call it my prostitute trilogy. I hope people will remember my three different portrayals of the Fallen Woman with affection.”
