In a press conference held yesterday, Balaji Telefilms Creative director Ekta Kapoor announced that the Global Indian TV Honours will be held in India on the 1st of February.

All the rumours regarding the event taking place in Dubai or Malaysia came to a silent halt when Mumbai was announced as the venue.

The mega television award event will take place in Mumbai, and celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan will perform at the function.
