  3. These awards are pathetic, how on earth can TZP not be the best film???

It is much more powerfull than CHAK DE.

These popular awards are always flawed no wonder AAMIR KHAN stays away from them.

The most prestigous film awards in india are the NATIONAL AWARDS.

They consist of everything, bengali, tamil, hindi, telugu, etc etc all languages and all cinemas are accounted for.

Thats where you will see TZP win BEST FILM!

  5. mr amjad, taare zameen par is a good film, but not better than chakde india.i am not saying it,u r not saying it.the whole public of india has said it through boxoffice figures.chakde india has done a business of 56 crores(ibosnetwork),64 crores(boxofficeindia).where as taare is only below 20 crores in 2 weeks.so dont be jealous coz u have to be more jealous when all the awards will be given to chakde india. reply back when the national awards r given.three cheers to king khan.long live the king……

  9. SHUT R …..CAN SRK DO THE ROLE OF ABHISHEK IN GURU I APPRECIATE SRK WORK BUT ABHI DESERVED IT,N IFRAN IS GETTING BEST COMEDIAN BUT AKSHAYE HAS GIVEN 4 HITS OF WHICH 3 WAS COMEDY THESE AWARDS R ALL ARRANGED THATS Y SOME STARS DON’T EVEN ATTEND ONE OF THEM AND WE PUBLIC WASTE OUR TIME N MONEY

  11. sha… it looks like u r a big fan of SRK, for whom even i have great respect …. in fact whether i say it or not doesn’t make any difference, coz the man deserves every bit of it and so does chak de, which undoubtedly is a great film… but that doesn’t mean TZP doesn’t stand a chance at the national awards… mind you, it was based on a more difficult theme and was handled really inteliigently and sensitively…. and as for you, Kam…. you said that TZP is a slow and boring time-pass movie…. well all i can say is that i really pity your taste in movies, i.e. if at all, u do have one….

  15. i was just going through some of the reviews that this website has recieved from the other viewers.as i see, some of them are not happy with some awards.
well, all i can say is that the awards list here is pretty much satisfactory.i think all the deserving candidates and all the deserving films got the awards.ofcourse, abhishek bachchan too deserved the award for Guru and screen should have given him the critics award just the way they gave it to Tabu. Rest, i am say was pretty much satisfactory.Atleast better then some other awards which are few years old and which do justice neither to quality (like screen)or to a mix of quality and popularity (like filmfare). i am talking about one of the award that is few years old (mostly hosted abroad)and is really funny.their nominations and the winners…ha..selected by the mentally challenged jury! anyways….way to screen and congratulations winners!

  17. also, here is the list of worst awards of the year (with due respect to the winners here…i know no one intentionally makes bad films and we just sit and comment…just take it with a pinch of salt)
    worst film of the year:CASH
worst director of the year:sanjay leela bhansali (saawariya…sanjay sir, dont mind,i know u have given us a BLACK as well)
worst actor:salmaan “rahoool” khan for salaam-e-ishq
worst actress:ayesha takia (no smoking…matlab ab filmon mein chance lag gaya toh kuch bhi waahiyaat karogee!!)
worst negative role:arjun ramphal (om shanti om..bole toh..SRK ki chamchagiri karke bade banner ki filmein toh milne lage hain lekin kuch acting bhi toh seekh le model bhai)
worst comic role:tushar kapoor(shootout at lokhandwala…tushar, please do us a favour-change your profession and stop torturing us.why dont you just work in those stupid saas bahu serials of your sis!..for movies we spend big bucks yaar..)
worst newcomer of the year: woh GO film ka hero-gautam (if i got it right)..well,mr RGV there are so many struggling actors who are so talented and u are wasting ur time and money and our time and money in launching such good for nothing newcomers)
worst story and screenplay:no smoking (aaj tak mujhe yeh film samajh mein nahin aaye..kisi ko aayee ho to batana please)
last but not the least…the vella award:goes to me..i think i have wasted my lot of time but i think i announced the most appropriate worst awards of the year!!readers, your comments are welcome!!!!

  19. Well, SRK truly deserved the best actor award for Chak De but there’s a toss between two films for best film category, TZP & Chak De. TZP and Chak De should have shared the honours for best film.
Pritam deserved the award for Life in Metro more than A R Rehman.
Best actress should have gone to Vidya Balan for Bhool Bhulaiyya.
Mr. Pankuj Kapur should have been given the best actor ward critics for Dharma.
