SPECIAL REPORT: KOI MIL GAYA'S JADOO IS BACK!

He’s back! If you thought that the cute alien from Bollywood blockbuster Koi Mil Gaya left for his planet, never to be seen on Earth again, then you are wrong! Jadoo will be making his exclusive television debut as the star of ‘J BOLE TOH JADOO’, India’s first ever animation- cum-live action series, to premiere at 12 noon on 14th November, 2004 - CHILDREN'S DAY, exclusively on kids’ channel NICK.

This animated series will be telecast in Hinglish and is guaranteed to transport children into the intergalactic, super-exciting world of Jadoo and his friends where plot after plot is revealed to keep viewers absolutely glued to their TV sets.

Making their debut in the series along with Jadoo is a huge cast of new and intriguing characters from Jadoo's home planet - Tarkopar. They include Tona, Half Time, Ki2 and many more. Nick viewers will get to see Jadoo's unique planet of two suns where evil does not exist but is jeopardised by evil people who want to destroy this idyllic planet. Two young kids Nina and Chakki on Earth don't know yet how their lives are tied to Jadoo and Jadoo's planet or about the events in store for them when their world meets Jadoo's. The adventure has just begun!

Gifted singer Shaan has hummed the catchy title song for J Bole Toh Jadoo and the on air promos feature much-loved actor Hrithik Roshan, star of Koi Mil Gaya.

For Nick, J Bole Toh Jadoo is one of their biggest local initiatives so far. The channel has acquired the rights from Rakesh Roshan’s Filmkraft India to showcase Jadoo across platforms in all markets. Co-produced and co-authored by Nick and Graphiti Multimedia Private Limited, this TV series makes use of Nick’s years of international learnings to create strategic and focused local content. In fact, this is India’s first ever action-oriented animated series that has been co-produced by an international kids’ channel for a global market.

Get set for a thrilling ride as Nick follows Jadoo to his home planet and then his dramatic return to Earth… Well, viewers can join the ride too... but only on NICK!

ABOUT THE CHARACTERS:

*JADOO is 21 in Tarkopar years (each equaling 100 Human Years), standing 4ft tall. Jadoo is considered a cool dude with telekinetic powers and powers that can impart knowledge, but has a weakness that drains him of his energy in the lack of sunlight. Jadoo completely dislikes pollution, but likes lots of sunlight, a green environment, children and of course Tona.

*And then there is Ki2 who is brave, mischievous and only 12 Tarkopar years old. Ki2 loves to have fun and, like all Tarkoparites, hates evil. He is still an understudy of Jadoo and wants to eventually be like him.

*TONA a female alien is all of 18 Tarkopar years, a little taller that Jadoo, is lively, bubbly and over excited most of the time. Tona also possesses the same powers and weakness as Jadoo, but unlike Jadoo dislikes girls latching on to Jadoo. Her main aim is to protect her home Planet Tarkopar and to teach combat to her fellow aliens.

*Teacher and mentor for all Tarkaporites and the most respected figure in the Tarkopar civilization is HALF TIME. He is immortal. And gets half his balance lifespan as bonus every time he reaches his half life. Considering his immortality, half of his body is like a baby – constantly replenished while the other half of the body continues to age. Half Time is virtuous, patient and considered the superpower of Tarkopar. He likes kids and Jadoo but completely detests falsehood and evil.

*The concept of evil was unknown on Tarkopar until a mad scientist called Dr. V Nash created three creatures whose main goal is to harm the environment. They are: Dhuandhar – A smoke-spewing monster who pollutes the air we breathe; Jadanu –An underground creature who thrives by destroying vegetation; Gaatru - A huge lump of sludge who grows in strength due to overflowing garbage and litter where they don’t belong.
