BOLLYWOOD MOVIE AWARDS 2003! This year's Bollywood Fashion and Movie Awards, will be held at one of the largest and most impressive casinos in the world, the Trump Taj Mahal Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City on Friday/Saturday on May 2nd and 3rd, 2003 respectively. The casino, unmistakably inspired by India's most beautiful monument, is now going to showcase two of India's most spectacular awards ceremonies. Chairman of the Bollywood Group, Kamal Dandona, said in regard to the new venues for the Awards: "The Bollywood Awards being held at Trump Taj Mahal is the perfect exponent of the mutual admiration and appreciation between South Asia and America that the Bollywood Group aims to encourage and promote." The Bollywood Movie Awards, an event of international stature, honors the outstanding achievements of Indian movie makers and artists during the prior year. Previous attendees and performers include Michael Jackson, Richard Gere, Steven Seagal, Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, and almost every celebrity from the Indian film industry. The Fashion Awards, arguably the most glamorous South Asian event, brings together the top international designers, most ravishing models, and the hottest celebrities together to honor the colliding worlds of fashion and entertainment. Previous attendees and participants include Diane Von Furstenberg, Jerry Hall, CEO Chairman of Miramax Harvey Weinstein, Steven Seagal, Andrew Shue, and a host of the most stylish and fashionable Indian celebrities. The Movie and Fashion Awards will be held in the Taj's 5,500 seat Arena and 1,400 seat Xanadu Showroom. The film-personalities from Bollywood will not miss their lavish sets, as the Taj Mahal is one of the most extravagant hotels in the world with more than 245,000 crystal chandeliers worth over $14 million.
