Family Story Of A Father And...

The sets were beautifully prepared in this lovely country, Malaysia. The team of Ek-Rishta were here for their shooting. A song featuring Akshay Kumar & Karisma Kapoor was shot here and a few scenes from the movie.

"Ek Rishta is a family story of a father, Amitabh Bachchan and his two siblings, Akshay Kumar & Juhi Chawla. Mohnish Behl, Juhi's husband tries to break the bond of the family and destroy the family when Amitabh & Akshay come to the rescue.

Karisma Kapoor play's Akshay's dreamgirl in the movie and has a major part," says Sunil Darshan, the director & producer.

"I always wanted to work with Amitabh Bachchan since the beginning of my career. I think very highly of him and give him due respect. Thanks to Suneel Darshan for letting my dream come true. It's a great opportunity to play Amitabh's daughter in the movie," says Juhi Chawla dressed in a white saree.

"Ek-Rishta is of course a new story. I'm opposite Karisma Kapoor again this time. Our last release, Jaanwar was a hit and we intend to make this one also a hit with stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Rakhee, Juhi Chawla & Mohnish Behl in picture. Juhi plays my sister and Mohnish my brother-in-law. The movie intends to be a super-hit," says Akshay Kumar.

"The shooting of Ek Rishta started off in Pune. Amitabh Bachchan had his role's played in September as he was very busy with Kaun Banega Crorepati & Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum. This will be my first time to direct Amitabh Bachchan for any film. It's a great opportunity to have him in my film. I know he will make waves with the film," adds Suneel Darshan.

Suneel Darshan gave a long list of stars in his movie. Ek Risha: The Bond Of Love stars Amitabh Bachchan, Raakhee, Akshay Kumar, Karisma Kapoor, Juhi Chawala, Monish Behl, Ashish Vidyarthi, Simone Singh, Malay Chakraborty, Mayur, Anang Desai, Avtar Gill, Tej Sapru, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Anil Nagrath, Brijesh Hirje, Kanika Kohli, Sharat Saxena and Shakti Kapoor. The music is given by Nadeem-Shravan who gave super-hit music for Dhadkan. The screenplay is done by SK Ahale & Robin Bhatt and the dialogues are given by KK Singh. Three choreographers are involved. They are Saroj Khan, Raju Khan & Chinni Prakash. The editor is Sanjay Sankhla and cinematographer is Sameer Reddy. Adding on to the list, the art is done by Bijon Das Gupta.

The movie has got a good script with some good songs and scenes and intends to be a hit.
