This fast-paced song displays the immensely popular singer’s hot and husky vocals, which hit you hard. Her loud crooning of the words “Dhoom Machale Dhoom” charge you up further and the buzzword “Dhoom” delivered by an unidentified male vocalist shakes the blood too. The chorus and instrumental arrangement are energetic. Sameer handles the writing job well and Pritam’s music sounds delightful. The video only makes the song more powerful and effective. Shankar Mahadevan catches the rhythm superbly and seems in his true elements. An unidentified female vocalist provides Shankar soothing support to make the song more appealing for the listeners. A rhythmically soften love song, it has the potential to be rated as one of this year’s musical masterpieces. The guitar is the main instrument, which takes place throughout the song and sounds great. The sounds of clapping and jhankaar are soothing. Prasoon Joshi sketches philosophy in his impressive lyrics, whilst the composition by SEL (Shankar-Ehsan-Loy) does the rest to prepare a charming chart buster. A touchy number, it stars a new voice Sujata Trivedi along with Kamaal Khan. Sujata does not leave any point for which she could be called a new-inexperienced singer instead she catches the rhythm flawlessly and sings it in an amazingly well handled style. Kamaal Khan makes his entry late in the song but nabs the breath with his exceptional singing style. The arrangement of instruments appeals but piano and drumbeats become the real highlight amongst others. Mehboob’s thought-provoking lyrics register good impact and A R Rehman’s fabulous composition makes the song a feel good journey for the listeners. A slow moving song, which focuses more on vocals than the music. The promos are also on air currently eying on Salman Khan, Preity Zinta and Bhoomika. This is absolutely a melodious effort to start the album. It can also be said that with the immortalization of the Taal album, AR Rahman himself became immortal in the hearts of indian music listeners. It is as such impossible to describe the expectations that have been placed on Ghai and Rahman's follow-up KISNA. While Rahman's increasing popularity overseas have not allowed him to complete the full soundtrack, Ghai has roped in Ismail Darbar, another powerful music director, to give the both of them the composers edge.
