Can you tell us a little about your forthcoming release Moksha?
Well, it's directed by the renowned cinematographer Ashoka Mehta. Moksha is film that deals with love and one man's fight for justice in a corrupt system. It has elements of action, romance and great drama. Arjun Ramphal plays the lead character, who believes in his ideals and will do anything to preserve them, and I am paired with him. It's a very strong subject promoting humanitarian ideals.

What made you take on the film?
It was the fact that one of the biggest cinematographers and geniuses of our country was directing Moksha. It's not easy to get to work with really talented and respected people. I could never refuse the opportunity of working with a man of Ashok Mehta's caliber.

Did you have any reservations working with a newcomer like Arjun Ramphal?
Once I knew Ashokji was directing the film, nothing else mattered. Besides Arjun is a talented guy. I had a nice time working with me. So what if he is a newcomer! I have been in that spot myself once.
