RADIO SARGAM SPECIAL REPORT: STARS ROCK AT LIPS COMPLETION PARTY!Coveted filmmaker Sameer Malkan threw a rocking party for the completion of his forthcoming outing, ‘Lips – The Kiss of Death’ on Saturday night on 20th August at Tantra located at Andheri (West) in Mumbai. Lips – The Kiss of Death is now ready for release. Sameer Malkan, the man behind the direction, who earlier allured the Hindi movie aficionados with the super hits like ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’ and ‘Divya Shakti’, has just concluded the post production of the movie and plans a release hopefully by next month. S. Khimani, the U.S based producer, has churned out the finances for this enterprise. Earlier this man has been involved with many Hindi films by endowing with the finances. This is called his first major independent release, which has Raj Grover as an associate producer. The party was swathed with the mammoth amount of TV stars who specially came to congratulate their colleague Anuj Saxena for his debut Bollywood flick. On the entrance, Sameer Malkan with the two leading protagonists of the film (TV star Anuj Saxena and model Maushmi Udeshi) personally welcomed the guests. “Lips-the Kiss of Death is a story of a simple and innocent young man’s obsession for a woman in the backdrop of the New York city. The film is complete and that is a good reason to party”, Sameer Malkan feeds the kitty with much conviction. The guests at the event were Juhi Parmar (Kumkum), Moulli Ganguly (Kruttika of Saarkkar), Tasneem Sheikh (Mohini of Kyunki), Rajesh Kumar (Rosesh of Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai), Deepshikha, Narayani Shastri (Rimzim of Piya Ka Ghar), Hussain (Sumeet of Kumkum), Moonmoon (Sampada of Kassauti Zindagi Kay), Cezanne Khan (Anurag of Kassauti Zindagi Kay) Rucha Gujrati (Kali of Kkusum), Anju Mahendru, Shraddha Nigam, Karan Shah, Bhavna Balsawar, Amit Behl, Model Nina Manuel, Photographer Vikram Bawa and Ali Morani (Cineyug entertainment). The party went on till the dawn stole a look behind the intoxicated darkness of the night. The guests danced to the beats of popular numbers of Hindi music and the one for which all and sundry said to repeat over and over again was the most hummable ‘Kajrare Kajrare’.
