FROM INDIA WITH LOVE!
The Big UK Events

The UK seems to have become Bollywood mad, with major new events focusing on the Indian film industry being announced constantly.

The latest big event to be launched in London is 'From India With Love', which will be a massive outdoor concert taking place in the beautiful Hyde Park in London as well as Old Trafford in Manchester.

It will feature some of the industry's biggest names. Amitabh Bachchan heads the line-up for the event and other stars who have been signed to perform include Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Preity Zinta and Gracie Singh.

As an added bonus for fans of the blockbuster Lagaan, which is one of the most popular Bollywood films to ever be screened in the UK, several other cast members will be joining co-stars Aamir Khan and Gracie Singh at the concert.

The event will last three hours and will also help raise money for The Prince's Trust, which is Prince Charles' charity set up to help disadvantaged youngsters.

Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan predicts big things for the concert. "It is a wonderful honour for the stars of Indian cinema to perform in two of the most prestigious venues in the world. I am personally very proud that we are able to have Prince Charles' charity, the Prince's Trust, as a benefactor of our event in Hyde Park," he told reporters.

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is thrilled to be part of the event and said, "It is going to be a fantastic occasion and a great opportunity to bring the very best of Indian cinema to such a wide audience."

To show the possible mainstream crossover of the event, popular film critic / TV star and self confessed Bollywood fan Jonathan Ross launched it in London.

'From India With Love' promises to become one of the biggest Bollywood events to ever take place outside of India will be held on June 29 and 30. Organisers predict that around 115,000 people will attend the event!
