BOLLYWOOD MUSIC AWARDS 2001
In Honour Of The Real 'Hero's


This year's Bollywood Music Awards event to be held at Nassau Coliseum in Long Island on Saturday November 10, 2001, and will honor America's true heroes through the universal language of music.

Celebrities, movie stars, musicians, singers from America, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, U.A.E, U.K, U.S.A, Caribbean, Iran, Africa are joining in this effort.

In a recent press release, organisers wrote: "We have made America our home.
We have freely chosen to make America our home.
Now is the time to show loyalty and thanks in America's hour of need. Talk alone will not do. Actions speak a thousand times louder".

"The Bollywood Music Awards will go on as life in America must. But this time it will be with a passion and purpose unknown before".

Organisers have now decided that 10% of all ticket sales will be donated to WTC related relief. The Bollywood Music Awards has also donated booths at the Awards event to charitable organizations, and anyone donating $5000 dollars or more will be recognized on stage during the event.

As well as the performers, other special guests on the night include Gov Pataki, Mayor Guilliani, Senators Charles Schummer, Hillary Clinton, Police Commissioner Kerik, Fire Commissioner Vonesson and a whole host of Hollywood Stars and America's pop singers. Grammy Award winner Jose Feliciano will be the Global Cultural Ambassador of the Music Awards.
