BOLLYWOOD ELECTRIC' ROCKS DURBAN!
What An Event...

Chunky Panday has turned into a hot-shot suited-booted businessman; a successful event organizer. He kicked off his new business streak this week, organizing ‘Bollywood Electric', a much talked about Indian stage show in Durban, South Africa, with a galaxy of stars performing there.

‘Bollywood Electric' featured some top names including Kareena Kapoor, Fardeen Khan (who is a big craze in South Africa), Akshay Kumar, Urmila Matondkar and Daler Mehndi, rocking and shaking Durban with 20,000 watts of sound. In fact, when Fardeen made his entry with a motorbike on the ramp, the crowds went berserk, broke barricades and crossed a ring of 200-strong security personnel, just to touch him, stop his bike and shake hands with the Khan.

To make matters worse, a well-behaved Kareena was mobbed and pursued to give more than 500 autographs and some even on hands, which she surprisingly obliged. Urmila too cast her spell on the audiences as she gyrated her hips and performed like a girl possessed.

To top it all, Akshay Kumar chose his girl - a winner from 20 beauties he invited to dance with him on stage. Winning the dancing contest, the lucky girl got a free ticket to travel with him to India.

To sum up the show, its best to quote Daler Mehndi. The marathon man of music proclaimed on stage: "Saade naal rahoge toh aish karoge, zindagi ke saare mazze cash karoge!". And that's exactly what the 12,000 Bollywood fans did.
