Bollywood filmmakers seem to be making films on adultery themes these days.  Plenty of skin show can be seen in every coming movie. Comprising all this together, Bhatts return with the story of a married woman who seeks sexual pleasures with a guy outside her home. Mallika Shrewat plays the leading woman of the film opposite with “Footpath” fame Imran Hashmi and “Inteha” fame Ashmit Patel. Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt handle the production business and Anurag Basu deals with the assignment of direction. Anu Malik scores music for the album together with Sayeed Quadri who beautifies the show with his lyrics. The album, carrying eight songs in total, has been released by Saregama-HMV.

1) Kaho Na Kaho (Aamir Jamal)
The soundtrack turns over the leaf with Bhatts' discovery “Aamir Jamal” (a Pakistani singer based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia) who makes his debut in playback singing with this flick “Murder”. He sings “Kaho Na Kaho” that is also laced with his crooning in Arabic words. Brilliancy is clearly vivid in his rendition. Jamal's entry to Bollywood would be appreciated by the industry and the cinegoers alike due to the obvious reason that the music industry and the listeners look to be associated with fresh talents these days. Guitar along with all other instruments sticks out. Sayeed Quadri's lyrical beauty registers a good impact. Anu Malik goes under the skin of the theme and produces a full of life composition. The visuals feature Imran Hashmi and Mallika Shrewat and remember these visuals have nothing to appeal you except the skin show, which is in profusion. Overall it is a catchy track and will be noticeable amongst the listeners.
Rating: 8.0/10

2) Bheegay Hont (Kunal Ganjawala)
Kunal Ganjawala continues the mood of “Kaho Na Kaho” with “Bheegay Hont”. It is the best song in the album sung boisterously by Kunal. A seductive number, it carries slow rhythm altogether, which appeals to the ears. Perfect blend of slow rhythm and energetic voice of Kunal opens the avenues of soothing pleasures for the listeners. Kunal, a good-headed singer, will soon be seen amongst the finest in industry. Sayeed Quadri gets you hypnotized with his perfectly penned lyrics as per the theme of the track. Anu too sets a gorgeous stage. A heartwarming number, its visuals have been airing currently on all satellite channels starring Imran Hashmi and Mallika Shrewat in the lead. Although you find sexuality in the video but the direction is the one aspect that attracts you a lot.
Rating: 8.5/10

3) Jana Jana Jana (Aamir Jamal)
Aamir Jamal makes his appearance again on the album with a pop number “Jana Jana Jana”, which has no appeal at all and helps you search the skip button. Aamir is just about okay. The arrangement of instruments is average. Composer even does not try to infuse some innovation in it. Quadri writes ordinary lyrics. If the whole team becomes lifeless then how can the skipper (musician) prove his mettle? A down market composition from Anu Malik completely throws the graph of the song to downwards. Only the lovers of pop music can give this song a complete hearing otherwise it has nothing to impress you.
Rating: 3.0/10

4) Kaho Na Kaho (Instrumental)
The instrumental version carries similar pleasures to cheer you up.
Rating: 7.0/10

5) Bheegay Hont (Instrumental)
Bheegay Hont's instrumental too manages to maintain the same feel and rhythm fully. It stays with you and has hearing effects as well.
Rating: 7.0/10

6) Zindagi Is Tarah (Sonu Nigam)
A slow tragic solo “Zindagi Is Tarah” casts Son Nigam to render it. Nigam excellently does with the rendition. Sayeed Quadri's attractive lyrics are creatively complimented by the musician Anu Malik. A precious gift for enjoying the lonely mood and isolation.
Rating: 7.0/10

7) Zindagi Is Tarah (Sonu Nigam and Anuradha Padwal)
The second version of “Zindagi Is Tarah” is also featured on the soundtrack. This time Anuradha Padwal joins hands together with Sonu Nigam to show her expertise. Both the vocalists lend their vocals flawlessly as per the sad theme of the song. Superbly played instruments narrate the creative side of the composer. Sayeed Quadri's meaningful lyrics become the real personification of poetry. Distinction marks go to Anu Malik for scoring such an unblemished music. Malik now really tries to be determined to focus on creating genuine tunes and somehow one finds him succeeding to some extent.
Rating: 7.0/10

8) Dil Ko Hazar Bar (Alisha Chinoy)
Alisha Chinoy, a sultry voice singer, who always impresses with the brilliancy of her singing style, comes up with a cabaret type of song “Dil Ko Hazar Bar”. She catches the breath with her velvety vocals. Rahat Indori (a guest lyricist) writes spellbinding lyrics, which are wonderfully arranged in composition by Anu Malik.A song that makes you press repeat button over and over again.
Rating: 8.0/10

Overall:
The combination of Bhatts and Anu Malik appears with a quality album laced with fine songs, impressive singing, heartwarming lyrics and an audible music. This soundtrack will surely bring handsome sales and is a gorgeous addition to your musical library.

Overall Rating: 8.5/10
